Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr

My rating: 8/10

I definitely enjoyed Fragile Eternity a whole lot more than Ink Exchange. Thinking back to that second book, I honestly think it would have been better off as a shorter novella, since although the storyline does kind of add some layers of depth to set the scene for Fragile Eternity, it kind of breaks up the plot in ways that wasn’t really good for the series.

This book was kind of slow at first, but then picked up speed halfway through. There certainly were a heavy number of twists and turns, especially with Seth becoming a faery. This is going to make the storyline a whole lot more interesting, and I’m genuinely super curious to see how Aislinn, Keenan and Seth will kind of work out their sort of love “tent” (with Aislinn at its head) that they’ve gotten themselves in.

Just like with Wicked Lovely, I was still completely entranced by the faery lore and the beauty of the world and the descriptions of how the faery world operates. Really excited for the next book!
